"Spread the Word, Feel the World" (Youth Exchange in Edessa, 22.04-29.04 2014)

Spread the Word, Feel the World: The project “Spread the Word, Feel the World” was organised at 22.04-29.04 by youngsters of Youthnet Hellas in the town of Edessa, in cooperation with 5 partner organisations from Bulgaria, Estonia, Italy, Poland and Spain. It was a multilateral youth exchange programme that brought together 26 youngsters and 6 team leaders from 6 different countries of Europe, with an aim to utilize the cultural elements hidden behind unique words of languages in order to facilitate the dialogue on cultural diversity and promote intercultural exchange, active European citizenship and social inclusion. All partners were involved in the main topics of the programme, workshops and games and all participants had to prepare themselves in advance in order to present their “unique words” and cultural context. The project was funded by the Youth In Action programme.
